Steve Kornacki has showed time and again how much the people are moving left. Steve shows where the "people" stand on the left wing issues like minimum wage, universal health care and they are far left on such issues. The Trump supporters were fooled. They were unable to connect Trump to the issues they depend on, just as they have failed time and again to see the Democrats are their best friend. To the voter was simply a matter of getting back at the liberals they hate. It was tribal.

The pendulum now is swinging right. How else do you explain the election of Trump? How do you explain the fact that elections, like Trump's, routinely go to Democrats? Because of gerrymandering, and the Electoral College is an equivalent of that these days, Republicans win? It is quite common, for example, for Democrats to get more votes, often a lot more votes, yet the Republicans manage to seat more representatives. Often the vast majority.are Republicans. We have basically had minority rule, like in much of the Middle East, for going on a decade.
