[VVID]. For anybody who might be interested, I got a phone call today from the Operations Manager at VVID. I had called on Friday to talk with the PR department about analyst covering VVID and to try and get a feel for potential new contracts and earnings projections. They were closed for the holidays, but they did have someone answering the phone. They referred me to the Operations Manager because he was the only executive in that day. I got his answering machine and left my number. Today, he called me back. I asked him if he was comfortable with earnings for the current quarter. He seemed very upbeat, and said the quarter that the quarter had ended six days ago, and so they had had a chance to review earnings,... and yes, they were very comfotable with the projected earnings. Unfortunately, I was not prepared for his call, so I then asked him if things were moving along in a positive manner. Of course he said that they were excited about the future (expected answer). I did get the distinct impression that earnings, would, at a very minimum, meet or exceed analyst estimates. I am very careful not to hype stocks, so I am not doing that.....only relaying my impression of the telephone conversation.
