"What is the largest state economy in the US? Don't you live in California?" I do live in California but I was surprised by the that Neo posted from the Atlantic that showed how most other states are essentially getting a hand out from California amongst other states. I knew we had the biggest economy but what I didn't know is how upside down it is that states with lower tax rates then California are relying on Californians to pour money into the Federal government to give them the welfare that their own state does not provide. I say F them. Let me give my money to California not the Fed. And your point on Texas was what I am after. High taxes don't mean bad economy. The wealthiest states have high taxes.
