Discern,

Really appreciate your effort as well as taking the time to report back to us long suffering investors. You had provided a clearer and more precise picture of what,s behind the scene of working with a most unique deposit which has the potential to impact the world like no others.I think now is the time for Zen to consider hiring a dynamic outsider from the high tech industry to present and market our graphite-graphene to the world.By the way,did you have a chance to ask about Manchester University?

Thanks discern for the informative post, which is a helluva lot more useful than the rah, rah, rah, BS posted by some on here. We, unfortunately, rarely get this quality of post. I think over the years many have come to the same conclusions you have expressed in your opinion section below... There will be those that continue to calculate the value of their future ZEN profits based on musky math and glorious pep talks, but more sophisticated investors understand the need to always maintain a sober analysis of one's investment, understand its weaknesses, and take efforts to improve it.

I was also in contact with the company last week to week with regards to certain post being made about JJ's work on the SI idiot board, to at least raise ZEN's awareness to what was being posted and to try and 'discern' if there was any way information could be leaking. Admittedly, I did not accomplish much other than to maybe rattle the cage a bit, but the email response I got back in follow-up to a phone conversation indicated that things were moving along nicely, everybody was quite busy, but that they also appreciate being made aware of the 'hot air' being posted by the idiots next when it purports to get into specifics about ZEN's testing work not yet made public.

Coming back to your final point, it amazes me how when geologists who make discoveries, and in this case by accident, and without even knowing what was discovered, get put on pedestal by some who think they are something special and the most qualified to lead the company forward because of the discovery that they made. However, anyone who knows anything about the mining industry knows that the skill-sets of exploration geologists are very different from those required to develop a mineral deposit and a mining company, and this is particularly true in our case given the added technical complexity of the graphite. I would have liked to see AE step aside (but remain with the company) a long time ago and hand the reins to somebody with better skills to lead this project forward in the way it deserves from both a technical and financial management perspective, but I also believe that despite it all, it is the graphite that will eventually save us.

Best,

B.

The locomotive engine to spearhead the project would be to sign-up a strategic partner/offtake from a major company.
I guess you did not ask about AE's recent trip to Europe and upcoming trip to Japan?
Can we be close to this?

Mr. Jordan designed his tests to produce graphite for lithium battery applications. Mara stated that there would be less grinding required to produce graphite for graphene purposes and so that there would be a higher yield for a concentrate (ie. Greater than 90%) to be used for graphene.
Like this part:
As the focus is now on Graphene applications be it new type of graphene anode battery, cement mixture, paint, aluminum etc..higher recovery improves project economics greatly.

Thank you so much for your post discern. I greatly appreciate your thoughts and honesty toward management and management following the pathways of the research community. I'm also in agreement with you that much of the delays we have faced is because management hasn’t known what to do.

But I would also like to add to their defense that graphene is a new product that became of huge interest when the research community validated it's applications and it's worth 2 years after Zen did most of it's research on the applications and end use of graphite. It is/was to our advantage to get through these tough couple of years to prove this up to be a mostly monolayer and bilayer graphene which is a far cry from $7,500/ton when all is said and done.

Two years ago we didn't know it was possible to sonificate graphite and turn it into graphene for the end use of concrete ad mixtures or let alone that graphene could homogenously disperse into a rubber composite adding electrical and thermal properties to it.

Not one person on any of these boards knew this and continue to be reactive to the constant new information given as we move forward. All research/testing on batteries have changed directions and it's intelligent that Zen has changed and is moving forward with it.

Zen's management is all about market penetration and how many tons they can sell into each industry per year. So while Zen's metallurgy is being improved by James (already by 5%) Zen is out there slowly and painfully working towards the markets requesting the most amount of tonnage at the highest price per year.

Regards, Mona
