Rush was fully on board the Trump train when it became clear he would be the nominee. Ann Coulter and Laura Ingraham are two other ardent supporters that were sickened by the spending bill. Coulter wrote a whole book about how much she loved Trump and how awesome he is.

That was not a good bill. We are only four months away from a real budget bill though and I would expect that to better reflect what the President campaigned on, and what his base deeply, bigly wants...

I agree....Rush has been wrong since the beginning of the campaign. He only mellowed toward Trump because he was smart enough to see the handwriting on the wall. But as you said, he wanted Cruz.

I always felt some jealousy came into play against Donald Trump.
