O. H.

AA is an accepted analytical technique when performed by trained operators using properly calibrated equipment and has been used in analytical chemistry for many years. I believe the previous problems came about with improper calibration/training by the operators (not IPM personnel, if I'm not mistaken). I assume (hope) they learned their lesson and have corrected the problem, especially if they expect Bateman to sign off on the eventual results.

OH,

I don't remember the posts about AA causing IPM any trouble at FM. AA is an exceptable method of analytics to my understanding.
