Hi, Holly! Want to talk about smoking (for just a moment)? I watched Eye on America on the CBS evening news again, and there is a new treatment combining the nicotine patch Habitrol with a blood pressure medication, mecamylamine (I'm not sure about the spelling). Together the two of them remove the rewards of smoking--the pleasurable affects. Apparently although the drug combination doesn't seem to be quite out on the market yet, it is much more effective than other methods of quitting in studies so far.

Anyway, have you heard of this?

Yes, in the end the insurance company paid up. Grudgingly.
