Much as I dislike republicans, Trump isn't one of them (though we can certainly blame republicans for foisting this loser on us- so much losing!), and he isn't a dem either. He's a demagoguing narcissist- who, as far as I can see, really has no intrinsic morals or beliefs (except for the, what benefits Trump and the Trump family is good, belief).

That makes him very dangerous. I don't think anyone really knows what he will do, who he will hurt, or how he will react in emergencies.

I have reasons for saying he's a Dem.

He and his family has a lifelong history of financing and paling around with Democratic candidates. The Clintons. He donated to Hillary 8 times before he decided to run against her. Plus Schumer, Pelosi, Reid. All the way back to his Dad and Abe Beame and up to his daughter and son in law holding fundraisers for Cory Booker ... that was 2015 or 2016, I forget which.

He talks like a Dem ... praising single payer, Planned Parenthood, giant corrupt "infrastucture" spending bills .. lots of gravy there. Like I've told you and other liberals if you want single payer, support Trump. Eventually he'll get Republicans to back it.

And look at the Dems in his administration ... the Kushners, Wilbur Ross, the Goldman people - Cohn, Mnuchin. All the financial jobs are held by lifelong Dems.

-------------
I voted for McMullin as a protest in the last election. Trump is unacceptable - period. I'm not the only conservative who has this opinion of Trump ... just the one who posts about it. Some of the conservatives who think like me aren't posting on SI anymore. And I've gotten a number of sympathetic pm's from others over the past year - I guess peer group pressure is a real thing.

My problem with Trump is twofold:

Character - he has none. No morality, no ethics. Self is all
Mental and emotional conditions - Chronic narcissism and ADD.

Everything else (Russian kompromat, corruption, financial self dealing, alienation of allies and sucking up to tyrants, whatever) stems from these two conditions.

Trump has been completely transparent to me from the beginning. I started my anti-Trump thread in Feb 2016. I don't know why everyone can't see the obvious. People are in denial is all I can say.
