I totally agree on the Dems; but I could never have voted for somebody so dysfunctional, there simply is too much at stake. He already showed us who he was.

And I also had reservations about my vote. But because I thought the threat was so great I cast it like you did but I had thought of casting it for that functional populist, who in retrospect should have founded a new party, imo. Because there has been no mea culpa from the DNC, just waiting for Chump to implode, which he is doing, so they can just slip back in with their own brand of corruption and giving the finger to the poor. Maybe giving the finger isn't as bad as stomping on them with their iron heels, but it's still bad for the nation going forward.

I'm really interested in how France evolves. Maybe they will be the model for western nations. Iceland would be but they are small enough to ignore, apparently. The US is just abject greed among the top 10% all vying to be in the top 0.1%, who are vacuuming up almost everything, much like the Grinch in Whoville.
