Nestle jumps into the meatless race
Apr. 2, 2019 4:53 AM ET

Just one day after Burger King began testing the Impossible burger at 59 restaurants near St. Louis, Nestle ( OTCPK:NSRGY) said its Incredible Burger will go on sale in supermarkets in Europe this month under the Garden Gourmet brand.

Near the end of the year, a version designed for American palates called the Awesome Burger will be available where Sweet Earth brand products are sold.

Nestle's plant-based business may reach more than $1B in sales within a decade, Laurent Freixe, CEO of the Americas region, has forecast.

Have had on watch list for years but never bought any. New multi year highs. Did not realize NSTLE had a plant-based division. Better value than BYND

RE: NSRGY

How do you value NSRGY? It's been one that Both you and Spec have owned. I like it for their worldwide distribution and now entry into the vegan meat product sector (a huge $35Bln market). My valuation say stock overvalued by as much as 35% (fair value at/near $79/share).

I guess you could see NSRGY as a GARP stock and maybe not even at a reasonable price.

It seems like it is always the case where you find several new positives about a stock, it is/has already much higher.

Any opinions on NSRGY?
