IMO, the IMF botched up SE Asia by imposing a lot of restrictions like very high interest rates with a hope that capital will flow back. But, these restrictions scared investors, panicking and prompting them to pull out.

Hi Barry. I agree with you on Soros. He's a profiteer, and I take almost everything he says with a large grain of salt. He has talked
things up in the past just so he can sell.
