Marc, I appreciate your extreme enthusiasm for GTW stock price. I hope you are right. I am also long GTW. I'm going to get out sometime in Jan. GTW will report earnings after the bell on Jan 22nd. That is according to their investors relations dept. CPQ is also on Jan 22nd. IBM Jan 21st. The fun will begin on Jan 13th. when INTC reports. MOT is Jan 12th. Your optimistic prediction for GTW will be challenged by some of the short sellers on this thread. They're nice people but have a real problem with GTW. I think the irrational movement that this stock is subject to bothers them. I have to agree with them as far as the long term out-look for GTW. They just do not have the power to survive in this PC business. Look at HWP. They spent 1.5 Billion Dollars on R&D last year. Thats more than GTW will earn in the next 8 years or more. How can they keep up with that kind of overwhelming power. One thing that I believe about Ted Waitt is that he is smart enough to realize the above. That is why I think the IBM rumor is real this time. I heard on CNBC tonight that IBM has promoted a guy that put together an international services division for them and they are going to fill that vacated spot with the guy that is presently running their PC division. They failed to mention who would take the head spot in their PC division. Could it be Teddy Boy????? DWW II
