Dan,

Thanks for all your good info on GTW.

I haven't seen GTW mentioned in any of the sub -$1000 PC articles. Do they compete in this catagory?

BTW, I'm one of the short sellers on GTW for many of the reasons you mentioned -- not that they are not a good company or that they don't make good computers. But instead that they are the weak player in an ever increasing high stakes game. As is MUEI.

Best wishes,

Kathleen

The rumor around Sioux City today was that IBM execs were in town today. I don't know why they would come to Sioux City, do you?

I think that if gateway does get bought out near term it will sell above its 52 week high. If it does not in the near future the price will still run up into the forties because they are going to rock with earnings.

You figure it out, rumors 1 million PC's probably 1.2 million figuring in their normal margins would give them .70 to .75 per share in earnings, far beating expectations and beating them by far enough to dispell any downward trend in the market.

A few practical facts...just had my third GTW system delivered.
Glad to report the product continues to be manufactured from
first-class components and the service system is AOK.
As is said, if you like the product, buy the stock.
HOLD GTW, you'll be glad you did!
