Thanks for the info. Syntel hanging on strong in this lousy market. Am trying to find more money to invest as this thing bases around 13-14. Good luck all. MChen

Where are you going to find quality Y2k people for $26-32k. A raise to $40K in 2 years is pitiful. Hell, in 2 years they won't need y2k people in mass quantity. These guys are raking in much bigger dollars than that (closer tp $75-90k starting with a raise to well over $100k). Makes you wonder about the quality of these personnel. From what I understand SYNTEL is well known for hiring off shore people (i.e. from India) who repatriate earnings back to their home country.
