It seems a large segment of US population is disenchanted with policies of both parties, who sold themselves to big business and big money. This tends to be the case in former communist countries as well. Like with communist Red scare there was counterbalance to Corporate fascism, which is no lacking, so greed based corporatism won everywhere around the world. There is still no better system than capitalism with taxes allotted for taking care of the weak and disabled members of society. The right left fight is largely about tiny tweaks for that balance. You might enjoy Rampage trilogy movies by a German director Uwe Boll. It's about mass murderer turned revolutionary. He remained a psychopath, but his monologues are interesting. Unlike your typical mass murderer, Bill Williamson is a psychopath who acquires his revolutionary philosophy as he embarks on the wrong path of self serving mass murder.
