Hi
Doug, pretty please look at MVSI it crashed two days ago. I am tempted to buy more and average down but from the ta end of it I am not too sure that we reached a bottom. The fa I beleive is sound-but I have so much invested in this stock already that I am quite weary of making another mistake now. Any help on ta would be tremendously appreciated

TIA kim

DAVE

Doug,

DAVE's a good'un. Notice the super-high volume FOUR days ago. I've noticed this happen before, vis signal days. I can't remember which, and unfortunately don't have time.
I have the feeling that soon, cat-science will be able, to paraphrase Monty Python's best routine, to pinpoint a purr within 500 yards, and DAVE, being such a happy cat, was a piece of cake.
My only reservation is market tenor, which at the moment is not positive for sudden cat-like leaps upward. (A propos of which, not a cat mind you, but: Check out IAIC. I know how very fond you are of Year 2K garbage.) Vis that, and being entirely, full-blown margin, into OXHP, I might have to miss DAVE. I'm super undecided, though, because my favorite indicator (New Highs to New Lows) is marginally bullish, meaning the two-day slump might be coming to an end.

BLAH BLAH BLAH.
Three entries since you got back, and I wonder why you went dark?

Ivan

btw Doug, congrats on your excellent performance in that contest!

re: the buy-and-hold for 6 months mindset...indeed, it seems very short term plays have become the fervor lately...

>> I also had to do a bit of indepth research for a stock picking contest<<

I would welcome more talk or ideas about such longer term thinking. I have concluded I don't have time for the day-to-day trades, and they have not been very profitable for me.
