"why we need to start talking about adaptation and remediation" The US is stuck in the stage where we still have to agree that there is something we need to adapt to. "Triage is a bitch." Ain't it, tho. If I was in charge, a lot of people would die. I'm OK with climate refugees drowning at sea, or on their migrations thru deserts. I wouldn't take any foreign refugees until I'm sure we can relocate and continue to produce food and providfe drinking water for all the people in Miami, New Orleans, NYC, Newport News, Alaskan villages, Las Vegas, my Central Valley, and points beyond
