Steve,

As I understand it, Sub Zero refers to the PC segment below $1,000.
Wheather it is $999 or $799 or $699 all of that is Sub-Zero. If I am mistaken on this Please correct me.

Corp are not buying any Sub-Zeros in the 4THQ, but with all of these new intorductions, there is demand for Copr PC at that price level.

Killing two birds with one stone.
Lucy Painter is the biggest CPQ bull arround. She came out @ 76c (I think that was the number) last Q right before CPQ reported 71c. She missed so bad that the stocks reaction was to go down. Is she making the same mistake ?
She talks about how great the quarter was but does not have a handle on unit growth. Small footnote on that one.

She is at a street high 89c the street is at 83c We will know soon.
I am starting to think that Guidance will be critical.

I know the four are gaining mkt share, But there is more to earnings than market share. My concerns are over inventory and ASP's and the health of the PC market in general. There are a lot of parts of the PC industry that are looking very bad.

SEG, what is this their 3rd or 4th warning this year?

We will find out on 1/22

Jim
