Hi Optim !

Yes, that does help on what the different factors might cover,
and makes sense relative to what little is in the help file.

I'm still confused on the influence period though. It almost
seems like it might be a 'weighting' parameter.

I did send a question off to NS Support, but I thought I'd ask here
as well, while I'm waiting for a reply.

I've only been running NS since the weekend, but so far it's give two
timely sell signals and one bad hold (ie. should've sold).

Hi Optim,

After reading and rereading the help files about 5 times, it's finally starting to all come together for me. I don't know why it's taken me so long to get comfortable with Neorostock, I'm a techno-geekette and am not usually so dense on this type of stuff.

Tech support confirmed that the 'influence period' is the number of days that the program will look back in time for correlations.

I remain quite impressed with the potential of this program, although comparing the features to NeuroShell Trader, I beleive I'll soon want to aquire that program as well, since that would allow me to easily incorporate T.A. indicators like OBV, Stoch, A/D, MACD, etc.
