Re: Capacity and ATAPI

David, I believe Iomega is still having to juggle the demands for ATAPI drives. Due to OEM qualification requirements, the transition was expected to continue into this quarter. Since OEMs are still taking priority and the transition from IDE is still taking place, there is a real possibility they could have excess capacity for one drive and not enough capacity for the other.

BTW, thanks to Gary W. and others, I am now convinced that Iomega is indeed producing at the million a month rate. (Sometimes I just need more convincing than most). Thanks to those who provided feedback.

FWIW - I just submitted market orders to sell about half my recently acquired AMAT and INTC positions (will even make a few bucks in the process) and will be adding to my IOM position tomorrow. It's not quite a double of my current IOM shares (a little irrational exuberance in my previous post), but when combined with what I already own, it might be enough to play in Truff's league. I'm actually hoping we see Seagate impact IOM long enough for me to get a low price. On another note, I still have to revise my earnings estimate but I can quickly ballback a new EPS of about 19 cents given the million a month rate.

Regards - Dale
