re sources of information.

Some sources I use are: Barron's (paid subscription), ADVFN, Morningstar (the free stuff), Globe Investor for daily hi/lows, Validea (free at Broker), Gurufocus (the free stuff), Openinsider for insider transactions, AAII (free monthly screens with yearly membership), Wall Street Transcript (general investing portion--- very expensive $, imo).
Quantumonline for preferreds. SI's "Income Investing" for bonds. SI's "Dividend Investing for Retirement" for dividend plays. SI's "Speculating in Takeover Targets". Others at SI, e.g. "The New Economy and its Winners", "Greater China Stocks". Once in a while: SumZero, Value Investor Insight (I just read the stocks mentioned in the free headline page to see if any might pique my interest for further review- I'm not a subscriber.) Rarely: Wolfram/Alpha, 4-Traders, McDep.
