Our outlooks differ. I retired 7 years ago and I wouldn't touch margin with a long stick. My portfolio is now seven times the size it had at retirement, but I have only drawn out three vehicles, some vacations and some tax payments (I contribute my IRA withdrawals to IRS), letting the rest of it grow. I own few "big" stocks and I figure about 20% of it is in "conservative" investments. I will not buy a stock that doesn't look well run and solid (which doesn't have to mean profitable, for I own many biotechs right now) and I buy with intent to hold until the picture changes. I feel very comfortable holding those and I find they do me well. I have suffered many losses, but my gains are larger. I can't lose my entire investment. I think that you likely are wasting your money if you are not holding Cytc long term.
