I am with you..nobdy cares...they just see the paper paper paper..
I can't believe that the people on these shows are that stupid..so
busy scapegoating others etc...they never can be wrong..
They don't say the long bond is soaring because all currencies are
in the collapse stage and when it is the dollar's turn who knows..etc
gold has collapsed because the central bankers have said they have what seven year supplies and they threaten to dump ...why doesn't sound newspaper person ask, if the Central Bankers keep on threatening
to dump...what will they back their paper with? fertilizer?
At this point, I guess I am beginning to get slightly nauseated at
all the glossing over of what is occuring in this "spectacular"
paper world economy..where so much wealth is the result of paper..
really gives one a sense of stability in the world..so much productivity..all those billions on beepers and cellphones etc have
really added a huge underpinning to the economic growth of this
country...much better than any concrete infrastructure...so what if
the streets of New York are caving in..and bricks are falling off skyscrapers...
better the government get their balance sheets a bit better by
taxing all the paper...encouraging more paper so they can make even
more money..tax more information sources..blah blah blah..
Is anybody paying attention to store sales...I heard Best Buy did
better than expected and Ann Taylor much worse..at least store sales
should indicate how things really are..or am I wrong..

I wonder if it would be possible for the Asian countries to get a bailout for a loan in U.S. dollars. then short the dollar and repay it.

Why take a loan on a dollar that is increasing in value and becomming harder for them to repay?

Is it realy the only game in town?

Get the loan.....buy an undervalued comodity....?

But then again this would take a couple years to pull off and we live in an age of instant gratification......best to run with the crowd and do as we are told.
