But Earlie, help poor old dumb me out. Just about all the computer and
tech related stocks I am looking at now are UP whith the dow down 50 and all this bad news. MU is UP 1 1/2. What in hell am I missing (G)

Here's a real time japan story for you. I live in Hawaii(I think we were #2 or #3 state for japanese Real estate investment during boom late 80's).I am working on an industrial sale of a Japanese owned property. The mortgage is @7.5 mil. I found out that they haven't made a payment since they bought it! In 1988! All the interest for 9 years has never been accounted for by the bank. Oh, the bank...it's IBJ the 4th or 5th largest in japan.They won't foreclose because it's too big a stink. The owner also hasn't ever made a payment on the hotel they bought at the same time(probably paid over 200mil. for that)!I guess you just have to say that Japanese banks are flat out lying their collective asses off. Can you imagine the shell game that's really going on over there?
