she is correcting her mama's writing, and

she at times just for fun uses a bunch of synonyms to answer a question asked of her by mama

she reads a lot. carries it all w/ her by kindle

shares my kindle account and would say of the ~600 some books perhaps ~200 are hers, and she starts to read some of my books

during the summer she read most of my agatha christie books, besides her stuff and what i got her, the classics

her language arts teacher says she is clocking at 12th grade for a 7th grader last school year

her social studies teach jokingly stares at us during start of parents-teacher dialogues, "i have nothing to say about erita ... what would you like to talk about?'

her science teacher comments that erita really does her research on any particular science project deeper than deep

watch & brief

we attended erita's school's parents' night and after the gathering of all in the gym we visited erita's class rooms and teachers as she would during course of a week

science, math, chamber choir, pe, language art, chinese, social studies

all the teachers were fabulous and enthusiastic, and the language art teacher came up to us, "so, you are the parents of erita! i was informed by another teacher that i was fortunate to have erita as a student ..."

erita is clocking at some level above her current 8th grade

the teacher showed us an essay on the classroom wall ... :0)

that described this and that
