Maybe less first time buyers aren't buying Dells...
When will he wake up and see they are buying Sub $1000 Compaqs, Acers,
CTXs, and IBMs?

Joey and w sun,

One assumption would be that as you get higher penetration of PC's, there would be less people left to be first time buyers. Also, mail order is not the traditional place for first time buyers to shop, they want some hand holding.
