Yes, I think we agree on pretty much everything except for the U.S. markets, I think we're going to see a surprising rally which most do not expect right now... at least for today and tomorrow... next week is always another story, we have a 3 days weekend coming up, this means there will be a time gap... everyone looks at price gaps, but time gaps are just as critical and yet it's completely ignored... time gaps represent a break in momentum for the winning team and a higher risk for a change in market sentiment... we see this in football all the time when the losing team calls a time out, it breaks the opposing team's winning momentum and offers a real possibility for a shift in momentum and sentiment... so, let's see if this weekend does anything at all... probably not, but it's still a gap, a gap in time...

On second thought, maybe the Yen still has some life in it if the dollar stops its bounce around here... if so, then this would probably not be good for stocks but very good for gold... so, we'll see...

My optimized portfolio is actually still long the Yen in the FXY...
