I had to laugh when the US media (60 Minutes) had a story on "ghost cities." The city they called a ghost city now has millions of people living in it. They do things far different than we do and far better. While you say we created their middle class, they did a lot of things to make it happen.

When Bush was president their economy was around $700 billion. Today, it's over $11 trillion. That kind of growth has never happened before in human history and it didn't all come from US companies.

While the US is their biggest customer, Japan is close behind followed by South Korea, Taiwan, and Germany.

I listened to a forum on international leadership (before Trump) and this was around the time when republicans were openly trying to cripple the Obama presidency. The countries represented in this forum were asked which country has the best form of government and I kinda expected them to say the US, but it was almost unanimous, they said China.

When asked which has the worst form of government, again it was unanimous, the US. One quipped that the US can't do anything but go to war and then its government has to lie to do that. Others said no country on the planet wants a system like the US since one party can cripple the entire government.

We've allowed one party to destroy our reputation, our government, our way of life etc. to get power and a lot of people were okay with it.

<<<<No one is following the US now. Without followers, we can't lead>>>
And so what is Trumps response to NK test? Besides threatening military action - again - He is suggesting we halt trade to countries doing trade with NK. Read China!! He also is threatening SK with an abandonment of our trade agreement with them. Good gosh you don't get respect and followers by going around sticking your finger in everyone's eye!

Trump criticized Obama for drawing a red line and then not following through. How many times has NK crossed Trumps red line?
