You do not get jobs back to America by pissing off every one of our trading partners. Now - today - he threatens the trade agreement with SK and threatens China if it doesn't cooperate in thwarting the NK boogeyman. If Trump was the gift of God for providing jobs how do you explain last months 155K jobs report. Including in the report was a decrease in the numbers reported in the two previous months. Obama did as well almost his entire administration after getting the economy out of the cesspool left by Bush. Additionally: Trump has pretty much destroyed chances of meaningful legislation actions that could help incentivize jobs here by bad-mouthing and demonizing those people in congress he needs to get incentives accomplished. Whatever happened to the infrastructure ideas promised by Trump? Those jobs are for sure here in America! Benevolent dictator. I think that was Trump was going for. Arrrg!

China's leaders DO have to deliver for the people of China. If they don't, they'll be replaced by other leaders put up by the party. All the leadership fears the masses. Their system seems to work much better than ours.

In my world, I can buy a Ferrari from Italy or a Ford in the US. When the government chooses I'm given up my freedom. Trump wants us to give up our freedom. It's the same with all money. A business is free to spend it or move it anyplace on the planet. If we put restrictions on where that money can be spent or invested where's the freedom? I went a long time before I invested in my first Chinese company. I too had a lot of hesitation about the morality of investing in a country that had slave labor, forced women to abort etc., but after talking to many people I decided my investment wasn't going to change things one way or another. I haven't lost one penny on Chinese stocks in all these years (watch my lucky streak break now). If you're willing to give up freedom to MAGA again, I will fight you every step of the way.
