This isn't to anyone in specific but perhaps all of you can answer my question. After the recent 5/8ths increase a few days back, seems like we're getting battered again. I do understand its a weak market and globally influenced but biotech stocks such as GILD are doing very well on the plus side. Is ligand ever going to perform in this manner? I'm as patient as anyone else but its tough to sustain a constant rain on the parade. Henry anyone? What do you see in the near short term and long term price gain for 1998?

Andy, I agree that Bernie provides more details of conferences than anyone else on the thread. There are clearly a few who want to give him a hard time, and by now it should be rather obvious who these people are. They generally contribute little to the board, and those interested in obtaining info on LGND would probably be better off if these people just went away. Unfortunately, I expect continued moaning and groaning, on and off line.

I also do not expect improvement because of letters to Jill. She seems to have bought the story hook, line, and sinker.
