When you go to the shareholder meeting, please dont be pacified by for-the-occasion news and expectations. Might vote for Jack Lynch, who wants to make Race more sales oriented. It is time to make the salaries of management dependent on how well the company (=the stock) is doing. Look into licensing deals. Find out what the engineers have been doing the last 10 months. Sell the company if there is no clear plans of how to make it profitable this year. I dont know if Lynch will be able to make a difference. If you dont know Lynch, he uses Be There, owns a good amount of stock, and knows the telecom needs of many companies from own experience. The mistakes that were made wont be repeated by current management, but new non-technical ones will be made unless better people are found. George Bennett may be one, dunno. If Race gets on track, then I think Barker should become CTO as soon as a CEO replacement can be found who knows better what will sell and how to do just that. Until then it will probably cause too much interruption.
