"They are overpriced for what there are."

What facts do you have to support that opinion? I think you need to do more homework.

I have been shopping for a new PC and have an exact list of what specs. it must meet and everything it must include. It is a higher end desktop PC.

HP & CPQ have been eleminated because prices are too high. And Dell, Gateway and Micron are left in the running and it's competitive as hell with these three companies...they're all within a few dollars of one another. It appears to be coming down to service plans and reviews & test results.

RE : "...BTW: if you decide to sell your shares, continue with the same reasoning and short the stock..."

Francois,
You are obviously new here. I seem to be the only bear that is willing to voice their opinion on this thread.
It (voicing my opinion) has been a real challange. Several of the regulars have made me rethink my position in a multitude of ways.
I am one that will admit when he is wrong. The result of all of their responces is that: The folks on this thread Like DELL the company, Dell the business model, Dell the Technology haven, Dell the huge gainer of the last 2 years.
They worship everything but the stocks potential on the down side.

Dell is a great company, But I have been short for a while now. Plenty more time for me to hang out.

PC prices deflation is now at a pace never seen in the industry before. Can DELL grow units without entering the fastest growing segment of the market (low priced models)?

Good Luck All
Jim

I just love it when folks come on the thread and spout off bull that they dont have a clue about..The funny part is that most of the time they leave with less cash. In case you haven't checked before you spoke...Dell makes its share holders very happy and most shorts end up eating crow ...Not all shorts but most
I would guess you've made a lot on Dell from the way you post..
