Bill, I think this is an incorrect use of the term "loss". You are attempting to compare Intel's reduced profits with AMD's increased losses. Intel is not eating any losses, they may enjoy lower profits. AMD may go from suffering losses to suffering bigger losses. Intel can flurish forever on lower profits but AMD cannot even survive on continued losses
