A disappointment to be sure. What does it mean? That's the question. Is Adaptec so poorly managed that it can't meet expectations? I don't think so. Is the performance last quarter the first step in a long downward spiral for this company? Nope. Are Asia's problems beyond solving? Nah. Has the human race reached a saturation with technology? Is bandwidth as good as it gets? No no no. Are we in the doldrums for a while? For sure. Will I sell? No way. I have not bought on margin and will stay the course. But darn, I'd would have liked better news this evening. Time for a scotch on ice. Cheers. Starowl
