Re: GM

W/ a 3.9% yield is this going to be a CAGR stock like in the old days? This whole self driving car theme (and now trucks), GM could be a huge player to deliver this technology (w/ the appropriate partner) to the retail user. GN model shows GM 67% undervalued w/ fair value at $ 64.70/share.

I still would focus on the Truck/Semi 'pure' play but do not know if there is a CAGR candidate player that comes to mind. There was some mention that GM may/could be a good breakup stock. Currently I have no position in the auto/truck sector but will add GM to my candidate Buy watch list.

Heat yep.. Toronto where I was working hit 33C .. 91PLUS F

WORSE with the humidex.. Felt like 40c.. Working outdoors I drank almost 4litres of water and didn't need the bathroom.. Amazing for a geezer like me lol.

Cold and snowy.. I hope.. Need to ski while the body still works..

Not surprised if GM and Ford wake up.. See F chart too.. Tesla moves from concept to reality for middle class.. GM and F have no barrier to entry.. Same for other bIg automakers. TSLA appeal may be its ancillary biz

Re: General Motors Company (GM) - 3.6% qualified dividend

Started small position in this undervalued stock @ $41.25/share , 3.6% dividend and new self driving taxi service called "Cruise" to be launched in 2019. I am looking for earnings to grow when this service rolls out and to me is the hidden jewel in the company.

Notice declining EPS but I expect 2019 will surprise. GN valuation model says company 35% undervalued but if discounted for $5.32/share EPS in 2019 only 5% undervalued.

I have a few more Buys set at 3%-5% lower to get to a full position if we s/d get any sell off.

FWIW, my last buy in an auto company was F in 2003 which has done ok but there was little to no div growth during that period. I still own it but may take gains and put into GM.
