- no BW capacity in the core network

jach,

I am back! For what is BW an acronym?

I do agree with your assessment of xDSL.

Somewhat Off Topic: HDSL1(2) targets the corporate market. It's basically a cheap T1, which more and more mid to small companies are using, telcos love it to death. Backbone doubles every 3 months (ask Gary Korn who attended ASND meeting). PAIR's equipment fits in great with existing system.

But for the small time users, 56k will be around for a long time.
