I wonder if Florida would vanish as a viable state if they were forced to use renewables like California.... I think I pay about 6x what you pay in Florida to pollute the planet. For example, what was YOUR electricity cost and KWHrs used for the month of August or the 30 day span that covers mid August? I'll dig up mine if you care to see what I paid.... We just switched to a new power company that guarantees 100% of what we use is carbon free and there is an option to pay more and get 100% renewable. Don't ask me how they will do this without using NG or purchasing electricity made from coal from out of state... but the city made the switch with a promise of no higher cost. losaltosonline.com
