Been doing that for the last 20 years. Along with ngl"s. Still think water flood is the best way. Abundance of seawater and emptied reservoirs to dispose in. cost is pipeline and pumps. Which many aging fields have in place.

I have to chuckle and say that sounds like Al Gore justifying flying around in a private jet and living in a huge mansion with high heat and AC needs telling me to not use carbon based energy.
Also, there is this. Using captured CO2 to inject into existing oil wells for additional recovery of oil not able to be extracted under "normal" conditions. Helpful but still fossil fuel dependent. It does help us move towards energy independence. RD
Also reminds me of Obama forcing his health care on everyone who wasn't in a union so they can still have caddy plans and not pay the "tax" to help pay for ACA...
