Comparing electric bills without more info is meaningless IMHO. You need to consider many factors such as heating/cooling days, square footage, HW heater types, thermostat settings, heat pump and appliance efficiency, etc, etc. Most utilities have online programs which you can use to compare your bill with local averages.
