Board makers sell off on Adams Harkness downgrades.

Adams Harkness downgraded several board makers today, and this is hitting HDCO, SANM, ALRN, PGTZ, CCIR etc. Apparently they feel the backplane business is suffering from too much competition, along with other concerns etc. If anyone has access to the Adams Harkness report, I would appreciate a brief summary. CNBC says that Adam Harkness feels that Asian board makers will be looking to export boards to the US because Asian demand has slackened.

I also got this in my mailbox(from InfoBeat):
A day after Adaptec Inc. announced its fiscal third-quarter
earnings would fall short of analysts' expectations, many related
companies fell in sympathy. Among the stocks falling hard Friday were SANMINA HOLDINGS INC (53-7/8, - 4-1/8), JABIL CIRCUIT INC (36-1/8, - 2-7/8), HADCO CORP (40-1/8, - 4-1/32) and MICREL INC (28, - 2-5/8).

Micrel is an analog chip maker, and they got hit today along with fellow analog chip makers like Linear Technology(LLTC). Analog chips go into things like garage door openers, cars, appliances, just about any small electronic device. Seems the market is selling stock in any companies involved in making electronic components. Component makers are out of favor, and that seems to include companies that make circuit boards and assemble electronic devices.
