In this era, the era of "the Google" it's easy to look things up. Republicans are often times forced to believe things that are not true because their news is based on opinions and those opinions change according to what the party wants them to believe. They promised to not raise the debt with their tax cut. Their tax cut creates massive debt. Will they care? No. They never care. Their belief system is so malleable that even debt can be bad one day and good the next. A fascinating aspect of what republicans have done to themselves is they can literally ignore the facts that make them feel bad (debt, global warming, Russia tamping with our elections etc.). Liberals don't suffer from this trait.
