There are some things we can't do anything about. People wear out and don't live forever. It's impossible, at this point, to extend life indefinitely. We die. But we don't have to die like hunting trophies. There is an answer to this madness. It could be fixed by changing the constitution- it's capable of being changed. God knows right wing idiots want to change it for other reasons- why not for this one? Other countries have found solutions to this- we could too, if we wanted to. Or we can just keep letting people get killed. If we do that, let's stop pretending we hope for anything more than more mass shootings. or pray for anything more than more of the same.
