There were very few scientists who thought the way Einstein did. But there are great scientists who disagree with Warmism. Real scientists.

This is how the process works. Look how long it took for physicists to come to terms with wave-particle duality. The arguments civilized, they were not carried out in the newspapers so much, but they were rigorous and reasonable. During Einstein's Annus Mirabilis, he got no respect for much of what we wrote about. Practically no one gave a damn about his findings on Brownian Motion before 1920.

In the case of climate, the time scale is dragged out much wider, not over decades, but over centuries. The idea that some thirty-year period is going to provide a meaningful look at where the climate is or where it is going is ridiculous.

Unfortunately, today's "climate science" is the "hurry up" brand of science you would expect from people who lead throw-away lives more focused on the result than a quality process.
