GZ, I think we are in a fear-driven market... either that or 1996 where we had a 5% sell-off going into mid-Jan. My forecast for today was based on the positives I found in my Barron's weekly forecast AND the VIX. That is one of the reason I think it may be fear driven... the TA aspect seems to have nothing to do with what the market is doing right now... rumor and the perception of what those rumors mean. Should we get much lower, we will take out the neckline of another H&S and maybe your shorts will pay off in spades! Bill
