>>>It is never ok for a person with power to make sexual advances on a subordinate in a work place. <<<

I don't have a problem with work place romance. We know that women especially are attracted to men who are in positions of power and authority and often initiate flirtatious communication, and are unlikely to form long term intimate relationships with men who are significantly lower in the power structure. I don't believe that is socially constructed, I think it is natural. I don't see anything wrong with that as long as the circumstance is not coercive. When the relationship fails it can cause problems for the work place organization, so would a failed relationship between two people on the same level of power in the org, I see that as a separate matter.
