A senior researcher (forgot his name) was extremely bullish on CNBC this morning. He said both DOW and Nasdaq are seeing higher lows, that a reversed head and shoulder was formed on both markets. He said there is a big short volume which TA analysts like. He even said "high tech, that's where we are." About japan, In yesterdays's Q&A session in DC, with the jananese minister of economy, the minister believes that japan's fundamentals are good, that japan should be on the track of recover when cherry blossoms. Comments?

joshi:

Keep in mind of con-artists (i.e. analysts) rating system! A buy/Strong Buy means we have a couple of big shot clients who want to get out of the stock badly. A Hold/Sell means our big shot clients want to get their hands on this stock badly!

Regards,

joshi,

CSCO concerns me for a few reasons:

1) It is the only networking stock that hasn't experienced a significant correction since October slaughter.

2) Even at today's closing price of $54 1/4 this stock is only slightly more than 10% below its 52 week high of $60 9/16 (Split adjusted).

3) This stock is selling at a P/E of 48.38 according to Yahoo. Does anyone really believe that Cisco is immune to the Asian Flu? Does anybody really believe that Cisco warrants a 48 multiple in todays's market?

Although I think that Cisco deserves a short-term hold (Not necessarily a sell, I do feel that this stock will kick butt long-term).

Anybody else have any (constructive) thoughts on Cisco?

Cheers,

Steve
