I agree. Romney looks positive delightful after the horribleness of Trump. At least you knew Romney was a decent person. McCain, also, was a decent and honorable man. I didn't want him for my president- I preferred Obama, but he was ok- Palin, however, was just an xx version of Trump.

There was a perception -- correct, IMO -- that none of the other candidates (R or D) would (or could) effect the kind of change needed. Trump is doing it, although the failure to get major legislation through is starting to take a toll on him. For many, his language tone and natural tendency to strike back, no matter how small -- are too much.

I look the other way and appreciate the things that ARE getting done, while continuing to hope he can overcome the Democrats on a couple of big domestic items (Budget, tax reform and I haven't given up on ACA). He's doing the right things for the economy (a hopeless case, but slowing down the ultimate demise is a good thing).

From a foreign policy perspective I have no complaints.
