OK. That's not uncommon. I think the gap between the Right and Left is the biggest in history. There's a lot of delusion on both sides, as well as a blindness brought on by ideology. I'm a pragmatist. I only do and vote for what works. Ideology is meaningless to me. As an example, I'm happy to condemn Judge Moore and say it is better to have a Dem Senator than Moore, because he's a sexual predator. That's because I'm not ideological. But some folks on this thread will defend Clinton to the death, despite him also being a sexual predator, because those folks are ideological and simply don't have it in them to condemn one of their own, even when that person has violated their own sense of ethics and values.

That is the crux of the problem. The sooner every American realizes both parties are totally corrupted, the sooner we can start working together on practical solutions to problems that bridge ideological divides. Alas, that's not very likely anytime soon. Too many people are married to their ideologies and their parties.
