Hard to say really. It's been my experience that - ironically - it's the institutions that are usually the last ones to throw in the towel on a fraud. I don't know why this is the case. The same thing is happening with Avant! right now. Even though Avant! executives have been led away in handcuffs, and the company is getting hit on all sides with major civil litigation - and losing - there are still "clueless" analysts out there who will simply believe the company's tainted PR and continue buying the stock. On the other hand, if they weren't there to create these extreme market inefficiencies, then it would be difficult to profit from great shorts like ZONA and AVNT - so the knife can cut both ways...
