No pains No gains This is war, we have reach the points of no return, PR is now 100% creaf and wil make it 200% long (no pun intended to our friend chip) if this insanity continue. Black Monday, dark Tuesday, come what may, Creaf, show us the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Here's a post on creaf in a Singapore Forum @ www.fish.com.sg . go go creaf! Base Forum: FISH Market Forum Date: Sat, 10 Jan 1998 11:55:41 From: LS400 (LS400) why i buy and what i buy...part 1 This is the time to ponder and be sombre. This is the time to be sane and rational against the tides of lunacy and confusion. Why do I buy what I buy - famous seven, creative and sardines ? Timing There is no better timing to buy shares when everyone is throwing because of extreme fear and pessimism. This is the time when you get values for money. Investors are unloading shares against logic, book values and ntas. Also, many are getting out because of stop loss positions and margin calls. Everyone who is selling now is definitely losing money - either little or much. Many are unloading because they cannot hold on to them anymore either because of pyschological threshold or pressures from the banks or stockbroking houses. Shares are papers to own a part of the company. There are many good companies that are not going bust and are still holding tons of cash and having good decent eanings. These companies are now selling at a price which equate to the perception that they are either going to lose all their earnings or entering the bancruptcy club. Why do I bu y the following ? 1. Creative - To O Chartist. I appreciate your concern and good friendly reminder. Creative is by nature a rock and roll stock, a heart attack type, boom and bust against the predictions by rational and irrational analysts. I am now buying Creative for trading and investing. Creaf is a perfect stock for trading. Charts are volatile and predictable. Numbers can be both scary and euphoric. Creaf is also a good recovery stock for investment. Purchasing Ensoniq has given them entry to OEM markets like never before. Recent acquisitions have made them the number 1 most comprehensive multimedia provider. Brandedness is a hall mark of all their products. Extensive networks and outlets for retailing is unmatched. Will Creative go bust ? Absolutely no. Will Creative have less earnings ? Yes, but not much less since 80% comes from US and Europe. Will their competitiveness remains ? Absolutely, since the lower regional currencies will give them very much lower overheads and larger margins against their USD denominated income like SIA. Is DVDs a big mistake ? No because they are the cheapest and the best and way ahead of competitors. For trading Creative, yes, the charts show downtrend and uptrend. But to predict Creaf to turn around at its top and its bottom, nobody has mastered the skill. Having invested in this stock in and out more than 10 times for the past 1 year, I have found that the best time to buy is to average down in bigger and bigger volumes and when consolidation comes, go in for the big whack noting sure that fundamentals remain unchanged each time you scan the media and reports. Why Creative remains one of my favourite trading and investment stock is clear. You make money easily. You have paper losses now, be patient you will get it back. You have huge paper gains now, it is time to short the Nasdaq version because sooner or later, it will come down. Even if you ever make a mistake entering at the wrong level, the fundamentals of the stock will bring it back up without much of a waiting. Nor matter how the stock is bashed, nor matter how the earnings is reduced, the company is one of the most cash rich in the region. The company has vision and excellent management. The CEO travels business class and not first class. He is a simple man and does not squander company income on wine, women and cars. The fact that he stays in Diary Farms despite his 1 billion USD networth speaks a lot about integrity and thrift of the company. This is not a stock for the faint hearted. This is a TRADING STOCK. It will become an investment only if you lose money and you can be sure that one day your money will come back. Tell me how many company has these attributes. Aztech, IPC, Venture. are no where near. Elek and Eltech is a good fundamental electronics, but they are not niche player. Creaf is and will remain the no 1 niche multimedia provider from A to Z. I am biased because I am a Creative shareholder in bigger and bigger volume as the stock gets lower and lower. I am a super salesman for Sim, because I am one of his peers. I am also indebted to him for bailing me out so many times. Listen to me not because I am LS400, but because if you agree with my reasonings and findings. Buy Creative right or wrong, you will be right one day.
